Team Leader Eveningshift
JYSK is a rapidly growing retail chain with more than 3,000 stores across 50 countries. To support this expansion from a logistics perspective, our 10th Distribution Centre is currently being built in Lelystad. Construction is well underway, and we expect the Distribution Centre to become operational in early 2027. However, that certainly does not mean we are standing still until then! Our temporary Distribution Centre is already working hard to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.
We are looking for an Evening Shift Team Leader who is full of energy, has a hands-on mentality, and enjoys taking on new challenges.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient logistics flow, either within the Outbound Department or the Online Department. You will lead and develop a team of warehouse employees while working closely with the Department Manager and other stakeholders.
Current working hours are Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 00:00.
Your Responsibilities:
In the Warehouse
- Ensure a smooth and efficient process from start to finish
- Ensure accurate and efficient loading and documentation processes
- Coordinate and secure timely transport bookings
- Ensure all relevant operational information is clearly communicated and followed up
Team Management & DC Operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team of operational employees
- Ensure a safe and positive working environment
- Work with the Department Manager on personal development plans
- Provide clear structure regarding tasks, responsibilities, and expectations
- Support the onboarding and training of new employees
- Coordinate staffing resources across departments
- Resolve ad hoc operational challenges

In Addition, We Offer
- A competitive salary in accordance with the Retail Non-Food Collective Labour Agreement (Home Furnishing), Salary Scale H, ranging from €2,829 to €4,219 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience
- 50% evening allowance between 21:00 and 00:00 (minimum approximately €500 gross per month)
- 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance based on full-time employment
